Sometimes these circumstances sneak up on us after years of quiet suffering. Other times it is the inevitable side effect of a life struck by a sudden tsunami of unwanted change and pain, that forces us to dive head-first into our healing journey, but other times we cling desperately to “what was”, wounded, clinging and unwilling to let go of the past and story.
The mysteries of Life can feel exhausting, painful, and dark when trapped in resistance to change or we simply do not know how. In reality, we cannot always control what happens in our lives but know we can control what we do with it. We have a choice—we can submit to a life of mediocrity and unfulfillment, or we can decide that life is supposed to be more—that we have a greater purpose for being here and we will do whatever it takes to determine our own destiny.
These challenges are often referred to as spiritual initiations. No one is spared these struggles, and often these are necessary for the soul's evolution because this is the way to true ascension and there is no bypassing this stage. One must be able to confront all your inner darkness, fears, and insecurities in order to evolve, transform (alchemize) change, and embrace it all with LOVE.
This is where (WE) come in ... the sacred space holders, mentors, guides, the lighthouses, the ones have have been through their own darkness and have come out on the other side, in order to share the wisdom and light.
We are the scared space holders of the Divine, as open channels for inspired messages, emanations, wisdom teachings, and energetic services that assist you in embracing the changes necessary as you move through life’s challenges and changes providing you with light through the darkness.

Often when we are faced with our challenges it can feel like we are alone, but this is not the case at all, this just means that you have not found that person that you feel safe with and can hold space for you while you maneuver through this growth period. Shadow Work is also referred to as shadow clearing or emotional wound clearing, and I lovingly refer to it as Shadow Boxing. Because that’s what it really is. We are in a constant fight with our shadow until we embrace, acknowledge, and alchemize the gifts behind our hidden fears, pain, and duality.
Like most, we are either not ready or terrified of doing shadow work, or don’t know where to start, as I once did. However, you may not realize the benefits of doing shadow work and how embracing your shadow is your biggest gift. The thing about Shadow Work is that it’s quite uncomfortable and difficult because it entails us looking at all the ways, some more obvious than others, how we navigate in our world and what lies in our subconscious and unconscious programming.
